Marianne Williamson is one of the most dominant and influential leaders for the New Age agenda. Ms Williamson is known for her wholehearted endorsement of the book, "A Course In Miracles." The most publicized endeavor of Ms Williamson is the in-depth class in which she teaches the doctrines of this book on Oprah Winfrey’s main website.
The original material for “A Course In Miracles” was published by Helen Schucman, She gratefully attributes this material to a spirit that claimed it was “Jesus.” She relied on this “Jesus” to guide her into writing well over 1000 pages of “revelations" that were later published.
This section will expose the blasphemous teachings of Marianne Williamson and her devotees. It will also provide and in-depth revelation of the blasphemous doctrine that she is touting as "Christian doctrine."
It is my prayer that you will see how must Jesus loves you, in spite of the people who say that He does not.

~"A Course In Miracles" Expose~ ~"A Course In Miracles" Expose~ (Material in this section, copied directly from several sources, see sources below.)from sources listed below.) The purpose of this section is to provide revealing insight into the web of deceit which is responsible for the entrapment of many innocent victims. This section will focus on the fallacious doctrines presented in "A Course In Miracles" that are being touted as "Christian doctrines." The information will reveal exactly what these teachings are and why they are fallacious. This section will also concentrate on one of the most prominent teachers of the doctrine in "A Course In Miracles," Marianne Williamson. We will learn who she is and how she directly contributes to deceitful preaching of this doctrine. In 1965 a Jewish atheistic psychologist from Columbia University began to channel messages from a spirit she believed to be Jesus. She ultimately produced, or she says Jesus revealed to her, well over a thousand pages of revelation during the next seven years. According to her testimony, Helen Schucman had a difficult relationship with her department head at the university. In an attempt to move beyond their differences, they set out on a journey to find a base of common agreement. Schucman began having "highly symbolic dreams" and experiencing "strange images." Her colleague encouraged her to transcribe the content of these phenomena so they might understand them better. As she began to write, she was surprised to see "This is a course in miracles" appear on the paper. She went on to say that this was her introduction to the "Voice." This voice began to give her rapid inner dictation that she took down in shorthand. According to the dictated material, the voice of "The Course" was Jesus. As a result of the influence Christianity has had on humanity, "The Course" chose Christian terminology to convey its message. A 1977 pamphlet published by the Foundation for Inner Peace states "its only purpose is to provide a way in which some people will be able to find their own Internal Teacher"- -in other words, their personal "Spirit Guide." There are several individuals who play key roles in spreading the message of The Course. Perhaps the most prominent is Marianne Williamson. A former lounge singer and now its most celebrated guru, she has become The Course's media star, appearing on numerous television programs. Her most-watched and persuasive appearance was on Oprah. She has been Oprah's guest on several occasions. Because of her personal interest in New Age philosophy, Oprah Winfrey purchased a thousand copies of "A Return To Love," Williamson's book, to give to her television audiences. Oprah told her 14 million viewers she had experienced "157 miracles" in her life as a direct result of reading Williamson's first book, "A Return to Love." As a result her first printing sold out that day and propelled the book to No.1 on the New York Times self help best seller list. Williamson states "For that, my deepest thanks to Oprah Winfrey. Her enthusiasm and generosity have given the book, and me, an audience we would never otherwise have had."(Marianne Williamson -A Return to Love p. ix) ~WHO IS MARIANNE WILLIAMSON~ Marianne Williamson was raised in a Jewish household. In the 1960's, she became involved with a life of drugs and alcohol. The major "turning point" in her life, she claims, is when she discovered New Age doctrines. This is when Ms Williamson began to study "enlightened spirituality." Ms Williamson became so deeply immersed in New Age teachings, that she became the head pastor at a prominent “New Age” church. She remained there for several years until she had a "spiritual epiphany." This "epiphany" led her to pursue a "divine calling" that led her to begin her own "spiritualist ministry." It did not take her long to become reputed as one of the most notable spiritualist leaders on the New Age scene. Marianne Williamson gave the course national attention when she was featured in Time magazine. Called "the Mother Teresa for the `90's" by some of her supporters, Williamson is one of the best known promoters of the Course (Time, 29 July 1991, p. 60). Williamson claims that "A Course in Miracles" was her personal "path out of hell." Since its first printing in 1976, it has sold some 850,000 copies and has spawned over 1,000 study groups in the United States and abroad. As Williamson puts it, "No religion has a monopoly on the greatest story ever told." Williamson believes her message appeals to "people who seek Jesus, but without the judgment, the guilt, the punitive doctrine." ~THE PRIMARY REASON FOR THE COURSE~ The primary reason for the Course is the "Correcting of the errors of Christianity....to foster spiritual development through the study and practice of "A Course In Miracles", a set of three books channeled by Jesus. ...to teach the Course's reinterpretation of traditional Christian principles such as sin, suffering, forgiveness, Atonement, and the meaning of the Crucifixion..." (Foundation for A Course In Miracles, "Forgiveness," p.3- 4). From its inception the Course has no qualms saying it is to challenge the word of God written down by the aposltes who personally knew Jesus. The Workbook includes 365 lessons, one for each day of the year. "This Course is a beginning, not an end ... No more specific lessons are assigned, for there is no more need of them. Henceforth, hear but the Voice for God ... He will direct your efforts, telling you exactly what to do, how to direct your mind, and when to come to Him in silence, asking for His sure direction and His certain Word" (Workbook, p. 477). The course uses common Christian terms with a completely new meaning that is metaphysical. With the intent of correcting errors in the Bible that have offended unbelievers because of their "narrow- mindedness." "There is no separation of God and His creation." ( Text, p. 147). The underlying theme of the course is Hinduism disguised in Christian terminology." It teaches that all roads "lead to God in the end." ~"THE COURSE" AND THE MAINLINE CHURCH~ We have already established that "The Course" uses Christian terminology and its followers believe it to be the revelation of Jesus. As a result, a number of denominations within Christendom have embraced "The Course" as being legitimate and introduced it into their churches. Baptists, Methodists, and Presbyterians have used "The Course" in Sunday schools and special study groups within the church. Presently there are over 1,500 official study groups that have utilized "The Course" both inside and outside traditional Christian churches. ~WHAT THE COURSE TEACHES ABOUT 'MAN'~ It directs us to say of ourself "I am as God created me. His son can suffer nothing. And I am his son."(Course of Miracles p.165 “The recognition of God is the recognition of yourself.” A Course in Miracles: (Text), p. 147. When God created you He made you part of Him. ( Text, p.100) "There is no difference between your will and Gods." (Course of Miracles p.150) A Course in Miracles likens us to sunbeams thinking we're separate from the sun, or waves thinking we're separate from the ocean. Just as a sunbeam can't separate itself from the sun, and a wave can't separate itself from the ocean, we can't separate ourselves from one another. We are all part of a vast sea of love, one indivisible divine mind. “The oneness of the Creator and the creation is your wholeness, your sanity and your limitless power.” (A Course in Miracles: p. 125.) Our ultimate reality, then-the core of who we are-is a single undivided essence. We're not just similar in our essential nature, Williamson says; we're the same Stuff. ~REALITY CHANGE~ [Quotes from "The Course]"Miracles are natural. When they do not occur, something has gone wrong." "Seek not to change the world but change instead the way you see it." Man has created this illusionary World from " ...false perceptions. It is born of error, and it has not left its source." Because Man believes he is separated from God, through his own ego and mistaken beliefs, Man has created the reality in which he now finds himself. If you go deeply enough into your mind and my mind, we have the same mind. The concept of a divine, or "Christ" mind, is the idea that, at our core, we are not just identical, but actually the same being. "There is only one begotten Son" doesn't mean that someone else was it, and we're not. It means we're all it.... "Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God." "The effect of the ego's belief in separation, which is its cause; the thought of separation given form; the world, being the expression of the belief in time and space, was not created by God.... The World of separation reinforces the ego's belief in sin and guilt, perpetuating the seeming existence of this world" (Glossary-Index For A Course In Miracles, p. 168). "I am affected only by my thoughts. It needs but this to let salvation come to all the world. For in this single thought is everyone released at last from fear." (A course in Miracles, The Foundation for Inner Peace,Huntington Station, N.Y. Lesson 228, p. 461.) ~IF IT'S NOT LOVE--IT MUST BE ILLUSION~ Marianne Williamson, author of the best-selling book "A Return To Love", says that we have "a natural tendency to focus on love." Only love is real. All that is negative is illusion. It simply does not exist. If anything negative is in your consciousness, it is real only because you give it reality by holding it in your mind. According to "The Course", sickness, hate, pain, fear, guilt, and sin are all illusions. The Cyclopedia In "A Course In Miracles" states that "illusions are investments. They will last as long as you value them." The Cyclopedia continues,"The only way to dispel illusions is to withdraw all investment from them, and they will have no life for you because you will have put them out of your mind." "The Course" sums it up this way, "There is no life outside of Heaven. Where God created life, there life must be. In any state apart from Heaven life is illusion." There you have it! It is perfectly clear--murder, rape, and other forms of evil do not exist because they do not come from "love." Try explaining to a mother who has lost a son or daughter that their loss is the result of an illusion. ~THE PROBLEM OF EVIL~ You guessed it, "The Course" also teaches that evil does not exist. It is an illusion that must be overcome by right thinking. The Text (i.e., volume one of The Course) reads, "Innocence is wisdom because it is unaware of evil, and evil does not exist." In essence what is meant is that evil does not stand on its own, that it only has reality as the individual believes its existence. So, you might say that the rape victim created her own evil situation and thereby caused her own suffering. The victim is guilty; the perpetrator had no choice. ~THE PROBLEM OF GUILT AND SIN~ A pamphlet published by the Foundation For Inner Peace states, "Sin is defined as a 'lack of love.' Since love is all there is, sin in the sight of the Holy Spirit is a mistake to be corrected, rather than an evil to be punished." "The Course" further teaches that there is no need to feel guilt because there is no sin. Sin does not exist. The problems that man faces are a result of separation from God. This separation is only illusion because it likewise does not exist. It is only a reality for those who believe they are not part of the divine. The Text makes this point clear where it declares that "no one is punished for sins, and the Sons of God are not sinners." As you might anticipate, there is likewise no need for the cross because there was never a transgression that needed to be dealt with by God, only a mistake. If we are a part of God, how then can we become fragmented by sin since separation (i.e., sin) does not exist? This is not what the Bible says, but the course does not intend to use the Bible accurately except to borrow its terms. Christ did not come to save man from our illusions but from sin which he taught was very real as well as the consequences for it. However Volume 2 of the Course stresses "...sin is not real, and all that you believe must come from sin will never happen, for it has no cause," (p. 179). The Bible says for this reason Christ came into the world to save SINNERS, Paul writes Christ died for us while we were yet SINNERS. It should become apparent for any student of Scripture that the Jesus of the "Course" is not the Jesus of the Bible. The course teaches the very opposite of Jesus' purpose to come to earth to rescue mankind. "The Atonement is the final lesson he [man] need learn, for it teaches him that, never having sinned, he has no need of salvation" (Text, p. 237). ~JESUS THE ONLY SON OF GOD? ...WILLIAMSON SAYS) "HOGWASH"~ Marianne Williamson teaches that we are "all sons of God" and are equal to Him in all ways. When a reporter asked her if Jesus was the only Begotten Son of God, her adamant response was “HOGWASH!” we are all sons of God. ~THE CRUCIFIXION FOR SIN ATONEMENT~ While we are on the topic of "HOGWASH": Ms Williamson and her disciples teach one of the most blasphemous things that I ever had the misfortune to read. They teach that the Crucifixion of Jesus did not establish true "Atonement". The "true meaning" of the Crucifixion was to provide an "example of the advanced stage" of spiritual evolution that Jesus had evolved to. He "demonstrated" his evolved state by proving that the pain of Crucifixion had no affect on Him. Supposedly, He felt nothing. The "Course" repeatedly undermines the true meaning of Jesus' Death by stating that Christians "misunderstood" the real reason that Jesus had to die. "The Course" teaches that the Cross is not necessary for sin atonement. The "Course" uses the following quotations to support this skewed viewpoint. "The crucifixion did not establish the Atonement; the resurrection did. Many sincere Christians have misunderstood this" (Text, p. 36) “The journey to the cross should be the last ‘useless journey.’” A Course in Miracles: p. 52. “Do not make the pathetic error of ‘clinging to the old rugged cross.’” A Course in Miracles: p. 52. "The full awareness of the Atonement, then, is the recognition that the separation never occurred" ( Text, p. 98). A “slain Christ has no meaning.” A Course in Miracles: (Text), p. 425. The New Agers attempt to make this "type" of spiritual evolution something that is desirable. Honestly, such statements are not only ridiculously absurd, it is blasphemous! ~THOUGHT-REVERSAL~ The stated goal of "The Course" is to change how one thinks, to change one's belief system by subtle deception. The individual is for the most part unaware of the transformation he or she is undergoing because "The Course" utilizes Christian terminology. The Manual for Teachers (i.e., volume three of The Course) boldly says, "It cannot be too strongly emphasized that this course aims at a complete reversal of thought." ~RELIGIOUS RECOVERY -- THE THIRTEENTH STEP~ Many who become involved in studying "The Course" are active in self-help groups such as Twelve Step programs. They are seeking to make connections in their lives and discover who they truly are. They are willing participants in this transformation. Many are desiring some form of "spirituality" and for those who see the Bible as being too harsh, "The Course" offers what they believe to be God's correction of our misinterpretation of the original message of Jesus. "The Course" becomes the "thirteenth step" in recovery for those who are attempting to escape the rigid fundamentalism that has smothered them in the past. For them, the recovery process becomes a spiritual transformation. The integration of psychology and spirituality becomes a lure that pulls them deeper into the web of deception and ultimately suffocates them. The biblical teaching of original sin is dismissed for the more palatable "original goodness." This "thirteenth step" regards all faiths as a part of the whole; they are one, and a psychological unity of sorts is achieved. "The Course" becomes whatever the individual desires it to be, it is "Christian," but not if you don't want it to be. It's psychology, but more than psychology. It's not New Age, but then again it is. "The Course" claims to have all of life's answers. It has become the "spiritually correct" solution to bring about peace and unity. However, in the end, this transformation brings spiritual death. Helen Schucman's new do-it-yourself psycho-spirituality is not new. The Hindus have been taught for centuries that the world and all that is in it is Maya, or illusion. ~SENSE AND SENSIBILITIES~ We must be clear that the message of "The Course in Miracles" is not the message of Jesus Christ. Schucman and and Course do not teach that Jesus is God incarnate yet fully human, but that He is a highly evolved being who became divine. The Bible does not allow for such an idea. The Bible also leaves no room for the idea that evil does not exist, but instead that evil entered the world through disobedience. Likewise, the Bible does not allow for the idea that God is a universal oneness rather than a personal Being. Kenneth Wapnick, a Jewish agnostic who later became a Catholic monk, founded the Foundation for A Course in Miracles. Wapnick states that "The Course" and biblical Christianity are not compatible. He gives three reasons why he holds such a view. First, "The Course" teaches that God did not create the world. Second, "The Course" teaches that we are all equally Christ. Jesus is not the only Son of God. And third, "The Course" is clear in its teaching that Jesus did not suffer and die for man's sin. The above differences clearly show why a Christian cannot in good faith consider "The Course" as a source for his or her spiritual understanding. It is unequivocally anti-biblical and is without doubt promoted by Satanic deception 2 Cor. 11:14: 1 Tim. 4:1). 2 Cor 11:14, "And no wonder, for Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light. 1 Tim 4:1,"The Spirit clearly says that in later times some will abandon the faith and follow deceiving spirits and things taught by demons." ~A SHORT COURSE IN DOCTRINE~ "The Course" teaches that there are no absolutes; truth is relative and is determined by one's experience. According to the Cyclopedia In "A Course In Miracles," "only what is loving is true." So truth is subjective. Marianne Williamson, the author of "A Return To Love", made this observation about truth in her book: "There's only one truth, spoken different ways, and "The Course" is just one path to it out of many." In other words, no one religious tradition has all the truth, but there are many avenues to the truth and the individual has the freedom to choose the path most suitable to him or her. ~WHO IS JESUS?~ According to Williamson, Jesus is one of many enlightened beings. In her text she makes this statement, "Jesus and other enlightened masters are our evolutionary elder brothers." She continues by saying that "the mutation, the enlightened ones, (including Jesus) show the rest of us our evolutionary potential. They point the way." So in reality Jesus is a way-shower. The Jesus of the Course explains, "There is nothing about me that you cannot attain. This leaves me in a state which is only potential in you. I bridge the distance as an elder brother to you on the one hand, and as a Son of God on the other" (A Course In Miracles, Vol. 1, p. 5). We are told that “The Name of Jesus Christ is only a symbol. " It is a symbol that is safely used as a replacement for the many names of all the gods to which you pray. (Teachers Manual, p. 58). So what we have here is inclusiviesm, that it does not matter what name is used for God, Jesus is only one name among the many. "For Christ takes many forms with different names..." (pp. 83-84). Williamson makes a telling observation on page 41 of her book by saying that, "A Course In Miracles does not push Jesus. Although the books come from him, it is made very clear that you can be an advanced student of the Course and not relate personally to him at all." This is an interesting comment regarding the lack of relationship one is to have with their God. For Christians, faith is built on a personal relationship with Jesus. Without it, their salvation would be in question. Williamson continues by saying, "Jesus reached total actualization of the Christ mind, and was then given by God the power to help the rest of us reach that place within ourselves." Such a statement brings to mind Matthew 7:23 where Jesus says, "And then I will declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!'" ~THE CHRIST AND SALVATION~ The Manual For Teachers states that "Jesus became what all of you must be." It continues by declaring, "Is he the Christ? O yes, along with you." "The Course" identifies with much of New Age thought in that it teaches false Christology. New Age proponents teach that The Christ is the one who is the most highly evolved being during a given age. This Christ, whether it be Buddha, Krishna, or Jesus, is the messiah for a given age. They believe, for example, that Jesus was The Christ for the Church or Piscean Age. According to their philosophy, Jesus achieved Christhood and by right-thinking we too can achieve Christhood. The Text says that, "Christ waits for your acceptance of Him as yourself, and of His wholeness as yours." Keep in mind that these words you have just read are, according to "The Course", the "spirit-dictated" words of Jesus. Now hear the true Word of God from the Bible where we read, "Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in My name saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many" (Matt. 24:4-5). The Scripture is crystal clear about the deception of multitudes by signs and wonders based in experience rather than His Word. The Scripture teaches that Jesus alone is the Christ, the Son of the living God. John 1:20 and 20:31 indicate that we are not His equals. John 1:20, "[John the Baptist] did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, "I am not the Christ. John 20:31, "But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. ~ABANDONING YOUR MIRACLE~ There are a growing number of people waking up to the fact that "The Course" cannot adequately meet their growing need to worship a being beyond themselves. ~ON BEING A "MAGICAL WITCH"~ In "A Course In Miracles" (pp 242-244) Ms Williamson, in regards to her troubles with insomnia, writes the following. "During the wee hours of the morning, both angels and demons take shape.... "In those hours that I've lain so inconveniently awake, I think I've begun at last to know what awakened means. Noting the witching hour--4:15--at which I awake more often than not, stealing outside to look at the stars and marvel at the moon, I return again to my ancient self. In those hours, I am not a menopausal nutcase, I'm a magical witch, and I can feel it in my bones." ~DEPARTMENT OF PEACE~ Now that the election is over, an important question to consider is, "What is the Department of Peace?" Most Christians have probably never heard of it. One thing that may happen with the new [Obama] administration is that the Department of Peace will become a reality. This department is covered more in depth in the other drop down menu included below section. Marianne Williamson and her devotees are diligently seeking to change the values that Jesus Christ, the True Messiah, set in place. It is my sincere hope that this section has provided you with clear insight into the insidious deception being spread by New Age spiritualists...and that is slowly becoming the societal norm. ~SOURCES:~ (1)http://www.probe.org/site/c.fdKEIMNsEoG/b. ~Department of Peace Expose~ (Article directly copied from Lighthouse Trails website: see Sources) Now that the election is over, Lighthouse Trails has a question, and that is, “What about the Department of Peace?” Most Christians have probably never heard of it. Those who have been tracking the news through Lighthouse Trails for some time most likely have. One thing that may happen with the new [Obama] administration is that the Department of Peace will become a reality. Right now in Washington DC, a group of New Age lobbyists are working diligently to get the government to establish what they are calling the U.S. Department of Peace. The chief lobbying organization--The Peace Alliance--was founded by New Age leaders Marianne Williamson and Neale Donald Walsch. In essence, the Department of Peace, should it become a reality, will be a means to enforce New Age based hate crime legislation. The legislation could very well lead ultimately to what Barbara Marx Hubbard calls the selection process, which is based on the New Age belief in order to stop the crises and turmoil in the world, all must go along with the plan, and resistance of any kind will be intolerable. The spiritual reasoning behind it is that unless humanity is enlightened to realize its own divinity, the world will head into Armageddon, and those who are self-centered (biblical Christians) are the only ones standing in the way from the planet being saved. We, of course, know that God’s enemy, the devil, hates the Gospel and the messengers of this Gospel of true peace (because of the atonement for sins by Jesus Christ). With the increased voice and influence that Oprah Winfrey will most likely gain because of the new president-elect, it seems inevitable that the Department of Peace will come into place. Lighthouse Trails believes this governmental body will dovetail at some point with Rick Warren’s global P.E.A.C.E. Plan. We can say this with the utmost confidence because of Warren’s efforts to bring about what he calls a three-legged stool reformation where government, business (economy), and religion will come together to solve the world’s major problems. In addition, because of Obama’s support of Warren’s P.E.A.C.E. Plan and his support for the $845 billion Global Poverty Act (which is bound to happen now), it’s very likely that Warren’s peace plan will get a financial shot in the arm from an Obama administration. But let’s take a closer look at the Department of Peace so that when it comes to pass, you will have a better understanding of its significance. In former New Age follower Warren Smith’s 2002 book, "Reinventing Jesus Christ", he addresses the Department of Peace. Only back then it was called “The Global Renaissance Alliance,” co-founded by New Age leaders Marianne Williamson and Neale Donald Walsch. Here are Warren’s remarks: “Marianne Williamson’s radical transformation from a little known author appearing on The Oprah Winfrey Show in 1992 to best-selling author, ‘spiritual leader,’ and co-founder of The Global Renaissance Alliance has been remarkable to say the least. As already noted, Winfrey’s enthusiastic public endorsement of Williamson’s book, "A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of A Course in Miracles," made Williamson, her book, and the Course instantly famous. “While "A Return to Love" made Williamson a key player in the contemporary spiritual arena, a subsequent book, "Healing the Soul of America," has now brought Williamson and her ‘new gospel’ message into the political arena. The combined message of these two books is that we, the people, can heal the soul of America and the soul of the world if we ‘return to love’ by accepting the [New Age] ‘new gospel’ along with its "A Course in Miracles"-based principles. Because of the popularity of her books and her continued favored status in the media, Williamson has fast become the unofficial ambassador for the [New Age] ‘new gospel Christ.’ “After the events of September 11, 2001, Williamson became one of the ‘experts’ the media called upon to provide support to the nation and to make suggestions about how we should spiritually respond to these disastrous events. With everyone’s heightened concern about terrorism and the general state of the world, Williamson and other ‘new gospel’ activists are introducing spiritual strategies for America’s future. Suddenly, ‘spiritual politics’ is center stage as the ‘christ’ of the ‘new gospel’ brings his updated spiritual teachings into everyone’s living room--whether people know it or not. “Desirous of establishing a single, unified organization to help create peace, Marianne Williamson joined with "Conversations with God" author Neale Donald Walsch to co-found The Global Renaissance Alliance. Alliance members include a veritable ‘who’s who’ of bestselling ‘new age’ authors and powerful ‘new gospel’ advocates such as Barbara Marx Hubbard, Gary Zukav, James Redfield, Deepak Chopra, Wayne Dyer and many others. “The Global Renaissance Alliance describes itself as a ‘citizen-based network of spiritual activists’ whose ‘mission is to make a stand in our local and national communities for the role of spiritual principle in solving the problems of the world.' The unspecified ‘spiritual principle’ is the ‘new gospel’ notion that we are all ‘one’ because we are all a part of ‘God.’ “Although the organization presents itself as an alternative to ‘politics as usual,’ its members seem to maintain the old political practice of not being very out front about their real agenda. As expressed between the lines of their writings, one of the obvious goals of the ‘new gospel’ and of the Alliance organization is to completely ‘reinvent’ (if it were possible) the traditional Gospel of Jesus Christ. While members teach that all paths lead to God, they know that there is no place in their new spiritual world order for those who insist that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Saviour. “The Alliance presents itself as a ‘grassroots’ organization of everyday folks, but it is important to remember that the Alliance is spearheaded by a high level group of [New Age] ‘new gospel’ advocates who appear to be operating from a general blueprint channeled from the spirit world years ago by esotericist and occultist, Alice Bailey, who is the author of many channeled works. Her blueprint is continually being affirmed and updated by the recent ‘new revelations’ received by Schucman, Hubbard, Walsch, Creme and others. In a revealing passage in her book, "Healing the Soul of America," Williamson writes: ‘Beyond the appearances of history, there is a great and glorious unfolding plan for the destiny of nations. According to the mystical traditions, God carries this plan within His mind, seeking always, in every way, channels for its furtherance. His plan for the evolution of humanity, and the preparation of teachers to guide it, is called within the esoteric traditions the Great Work.’ “The significance of Williamson, Walsch, Hubbard and other very influential ‘new gospel’ advocates choosing to demonstrate their unity and oneness at this time through their global association cannot be overstated. “The amount of networking and mutual support among Alliance members is widespread as they continue to join together in increasingly powerful ways to put their ‘new gospel’ agenda before an anxious world that is searching for spiritual answers. Furthering their common cause, Walsch has written the introduction to Hubbard’s last two books, "Conscious Evolution" and "Emergence." Hubbard, in turn, recommends Walsch’s and Williamson’s books in her writings. Williamson does the same with Walsch and Hubbard. The three of them, in their mutual support of each other, provide a strong nucleus for the Alliance's high-powered network of [New Age] 'new gospel’ advocates, many of whom have bestsellers and followings of their own. “The Alliance has definitely unified the ‘new gospel’ leadership over the last few years. However, it wasn’t until after the events of September 11 that they stepped forward in an even more significant and public way to begin introducing their ‘new gospel’ plan for the conscious creation of world peace.” (from Reinventing Jesus Christ, chapter 6) That was written by Warren Smith in 2002. In 2005, the Global Renaissance Alliance changed its name to the Peace Alliance. Williamson joined forces with people like news icon Walter Cronkite, Senator Dennis Kucinich, and a number of well-known Hollywood stars and singers. The Global Renaissance Alliance with its wide array of New Age leaders was too obvious. Now, the Peace Alliance has gathered a ‘respectable’ group of leaders, pressing forward with the same agenda as the Global Renaissance Alliance. That agenda? According to Barbara Marx Hubbard and a former Global Renaissance Alliance board member, to “reorient our great social and scientific capacities in alignment with Christ consciousness as to transform this Earth.” (from the Global Renaissance Alliance website). Today, Williamson’s Department of Peace efforts (Bill HR-808) has gained the sponsorship and support of 70 U.S. Representatives. Incidentally, every one of them except Rep. Wayne Gilchrest of Maryland, is a member of the Democratic Party. While Scripture instructs believers to pray for those in authority, it also exhorts us to warn the Church of grievous wolves and false doctrines, and to defend the precious faith. Because so many Christian figures are leading countless people toward the New Age/New Spirituality, we are compelled to continue our warnings. We know that salvation comes only to those who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior through faith by His grace - it is this Gospel message we seek to preserve in such dark and trying times. Thus, while the United States and the rest of the world move closer and closer toward a false one world system and a false christ, we will continue speaking the truth in love and boldness, exposing areas of darkness for the sake of the saints and the hopeful salvation of many lost souls. “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” (I Corinthians 15:57-58) ~SOURCE:http://www.lighthousetrailsresearch. com/blog/?cat=10~ Here is a video of an interview in which Marianne Williamson describes the "necessity" of the "Department of Peace."
